Dr. Lisa Henkel has resigned.
It is official Dr. Lisa Henkel has resigned from the Wynantskill Union Free School District.
We find an Interim Superintendent. S/he will help us with the day-to-day running of the building. The kids will come to school and begin a great year. The BOE will begin a seearch for a new administrator and the process of interviews will begin. We will get there...it's not an instant fix, but we are on the right path. We've learned to be more cautious, not to be deceived by personality, and that you have to weather the storm in order to see the rainbow. By the way....there was a rainbow over GD last night--a genuine rainbow outside, a sign that things are changing. We did it.
